OUR INSIGHTS
NEW PERSPECTIVES
Gaining insight is an important skill as well as a gift to navigate life. Often a little more information can provide a new perspective on a problem or help you to better understand a person or situation.
In this section you will find insights on a range of different subjects, on a rolling basis, connected to ‘owning your wellbeing’.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Meeting your partner’s parents will often help you understand why they do some of the things they do. Reading the history of an organisation or a business can reveal a lot about them, how they operate and how they choose their personnel. As a parent asking our children questions about why they did what they did will help you understand their motivation.
Learning more about what you can achieve in your community and helping a charity make a positive difference in people’s lives, is eye- opening and life enhancing.
Today’s complex world
“Most people can relate to stress and anxiety in today’s complex world. These poems were inspired by my own experiences. I wanted to try and express in words how people feel living with mental health struggles and the fear of challenges involved in recovery. I believe that medication is not the absolute answer, but developing strategies to cope in everyday settings is the best long-term solution.” Amy Douglas
